Elizabeth A. Watson

You could call me a “late bloomer” since I did not start painting seriously until 2023. A local artist and dear friend introduced me to acrylic painting when I was frustrated in finding wallpaper for a wall in my home. She suggested we work together to create something on the wall ourselves which was a resounding success! From that moment, I was hooked and have been painting ever since. I recently retired so painting is full-time now.

Painting intuitive, abstract work feels like a natural progression in self-discovery, which has been a lifelong passion of mine. I am inspired by the emotions a work can illicit not only for myself but others. I feel very grateful for the opportunity to share my work at the Zandvoort Art 2025 and look forward to meeting you there.
